Bernard Magee Bridge (BMB) – bernardmageebridge.com – was launched in 2020, just after lockdown, and has quickly become the UK’s premier online bridge learning community catering to bridge players ranging from novices to club experts.

Every week Bernard Magee releases fresh bite-sized content to inspire and challenge your bridge playing abilities. Be involved as much or as little as your time allows. BMB members have access to the entire library to watch at leisure.

  50 Big Seminars & accompanying Set Hands
Bernard has created over 50 ‘Big Seminars’ which take a deep dive into key bridge topics. Each ‘Big Seminar’ is around an hour in length and accompanied by 8 Set Hands to give you an opportunity to practise what you have learnt.

  Weekly Live Shows
Bernard presents 3 weekly online Live Shows – usually transmitted live at these times:
Monday 11am – FREE (open to non-members)
Wednesday 7:30pm – FULL BMB Members only
Friday 11am – FULL BMB Members only

  350 Mini Seminars
The weekly Monday and Friday Live Shows include mini seminars give you an opportunity for regular learning across a range of topics.

  150 Teams Live Show
The Wednesday Live Show is usually a Teams Game in which Bernard plays live and commentates on the play throughout the game interacting with questions from the audience in the ‘Live Chat’. As an alternative a Pairs game may sometimes be played. There is a monthly Prize Teams Game, where the weekly winners of the ‘Lead (Prize) Quiz’ have an opportunity to play with and have a game analysis with Bernard afterwards.

  650 Quizzes
Challenge yourself and improve your skills with Bernard’s Bidding, Play and Lead quizzes. You could even get on the BMB Lead Quiz Leaderboard and have an opportunity to play in the monthly Prize Teams Game! New quizzes are released weekly.

  350 Hands of the Week
Bernard talks through the bidding and play of a ‘Harder’ and ‘Easier’ hand each week.

  14 Bridge Courses
Bernard has created a variety of courses, collating content together under the same topic – allowing you to focus on one subject more easily.

  Online Games & Set Hand practise sessions
See the BMB Calendar for the schedule of members only weekly ‘Casual’ online games, ‘Improvers’ Session, and Set Hand practise sessions. Once a week there is a small friendly ‘Organised’ online game, managed by BMB approved Directors.

  Bridge Chat – Forums & BMB Private Facebook Group
Join the conversation in one of four BMB community forums – incl. ‘Bridge Questions – Ask Julian Pottage’ & ‘Laws & Ethics – Ask David Stevenson’. Full Members also receive access to the BMB Private Facebook group.
