HAND PATTERN

The way in which the cards, when arranged into suits, are within one hand. For example: 5-4-3-1 ‘pattern’. This is also the hand’s ‘distribution’ or ‘shape’.

The hand for the Hamman’s rule example has a 6-3-3-1 pattern.
