Using a Blackwood that includes the king of trumps is very important indeed. Key-card Blackwood is the most simple option and is within every player’s range. More complicated versions of Blackwood are available, but are largely unnecessary. This course is full of instruction and examples to see how the convention works and improves slam bidding accuracy.
There are two big seminars to look at, one of which is focussed on Blackwood and then one set of set hands. There are then lots of hands of the week available for you to practise and/or see the convention in action.
